Please read the following information thoroughly before scheduling your first grooming appointment with Pet Wize

Reminder: ALL grooming appointments are made in-person at our store, or by calling us at (813)-985-8788. We are not currently offering online scheduling.

First time grooming customers are required to provide some documentation prior to receiving any grooming services (including nail trims and other walk-in services). Although we do recommend full vaccinations, we will only take dogs that have at least been vaccinated for Parvo and Rabies. First time customers must bring their pet's shot records and complete some paperwork at check-in (including pet owner's driver's license number).

Once we confirm your information at check-in, we will note what services your dog(s) are receiving and relay that information to the groomers. For any haircuts, a groomer will check out the condition of your dog's coat prior to the first cut and personally chat with you about how you want your dog styled. If you have any pictures of breed-specific styles you'd like done, this is a great time to share them with our groomers.

Attached below is our new customer paperwork. You are welcome to print it and complete it in handwriting prior to your appointment or complete it at check-in in person.

  • First time grooming at Pet Wize?

    We warmly welcome both new and existing customers for grooming! 


    First-timers are required to provide their driver's license and their pet's shot records to their appointment. 


    Pet Wize will only groom dogs that have at least been vaccinated for Parvo and Rabies, although we do reccomend full vaccinations. 


    Please be prepared to fill out a page of paperwork prior to grooming.

  • How do I book a grooming appointment?

    All grooming appointments are made by calling our store at (813) 985-8788 or  in-store at the counter.

  • Do you accept walk-ins?

    Our grooming is by appointment only. Nail trims and a la carte items may be provided on a walk-in basis. Walk-in grooming may only be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Please call our store to inquire.

  • What times are the groomers available?

    The groomers are here 6 days a week from 9am to 2pm Monday through Saturday. 


    We reccommend calling at least a day in advance to schedule an appointment!

  • When can I come in for a nail trim?

    Nail trims are provided on a walk-in basis between 9 am and 2 pm Monday through Saturday. 


    You are welcome to call in advance to guarantee a groomer is available.

  • Does Pet Wize groom pets other than dogs?

    Unfortunately, we only offer dog grooming.  


    However, we just ask that you call ahead to find out if we can accomodate you on a day that is not busy.


    Some of our groomers offer nail trims for cats (if there is less dog traffic). We actively avoid putting cats and other small animals in any risky or stressful situations near dogs.
